WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — Fire officials with the Northern Wake Fire Department, along with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, said they are responding to a drowning call in the county Monday afternoon.

According to the fire department, crews were dispatched to a drowning call at Falls Lake.
In addition to the fire department, the sheriff’s office also responded to the possible drowning.

The sheriff’s office said it received the call just before 2:30 p.m. about a swimmer possibly drowning in the 14600 block of Creedmoor Road.
