The taste of cooler weather and lower humidity we experienced Tuesday will stick around for Wednesday. Highs will run a little warmer, in the middle 80s, but dew points will remain on the lower side.

We’ll see a lot of sunshine with mostly clear skies lasting into much of the week, but the heat starts to build back by Thursday and Friday. Highs will return to the upper 80s and lower 90s as humidity begins to creep back in as well.
Rain chances pop back into the mix by late this week, through the weekend into early the next as a cold front approaches the region. No day will be a washout. But we still need the rain with how dry this month has been.
Fall officially arrives at 8:05 p.m. next Tuesday evening. Right on time, temperatures will dip back into the lower 80s by the middle of that week.
In the tropics, there’s only one area of disturbance being watched. A trough of low pressure has a 40 percent chance of formation over the next 7 days and could become a tropical depression by late this week into the weekend, according to the NHC.
