With the chance to win $25,000 and national recognition, Skyler’s focus isn’t just on winning — it’s about learning and mentorship. He plays soccer, flag football, taekwondo, and swims, all while embracing the lessons of respect, teamwork, and resilience.

If he wins all of that money, Skyler said, “I’m going to buy some toys with it and save the rest.”

Skyler’s dad, Dr. Todd Miller said, “Kids get into sports at different ages and they don’t stick it out. A lot of them lose momentum after years. I think this would help him keep that desire to keep going.”
