Fayetteville to host free community wellness event

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Residents of Fayetteville are invited to participate in the Fayetteville Better Together Community Tour, a free wellness experience designed to enhance health, confidence, and community connections.

The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Urban Ministries at 701 Whitfield Street.

The tour, sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Healthy Blue North Carolina, Grooming Resources and Opportunities Inc., and the Mobile Barber Truck, aims to provide essential resources to community members.

Attendees can look forward to complimentary services, including fresh haircuts, blood pressure screenings, and behavioral health screenings.
