As discussions continue regarding recent large gatherings of teenagers, often labeled “Teen Takeover” events, concerns about youth safety and wellbeing are at the forefront. The Listening Session will explore not only the risks young people may face but also the strengths and community resources that can support their development.
Participants will be encouraged to reflect on key questions, including the significant needs young people face today, factors that may contribute to delinquent behavior, and initiatives that can foster safe, supportive environments. The Council emphasizes inclusive dialogue and welcomes a range of perspectives to inform its ongoing juvenile crime prevention efforts.
