RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man has been hospitalized after a shooting overnight on Memorial Day weekend in Wake County.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies rushed to a call of a shooting around 12:30 a.m. Monday on the 6100 block of Horseshoe Drive, right on the border of Raleigh and Garner.
Upon arrival, deputies said they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies said the victim sustained serious injuries in the shooting and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
