Wednesday’s high will be similar to the start of the week, with middle to upper 80s for most. But changes start to arrive Thursday, as a cold front approaches the region.

Thursday will see highs in the lower 80s with a few showers and storms. Winds will shift to the north in the afternoon. That will usher in cooler air and lower humidity in time for the final weekend of May.

Saturday could see a few passing showers before it turns dry again on Sunday.

Highs on both days of the weekend will top out in the 70s, which will continue early next week. Other than a few scattered showers, the first few days of June look pleasant with sun and seasonable temperatures.
