RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A woman was hospitalized after being shot while inside a vehicle along Glenwood Avenue overnight, police said on Friday.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded shortly after midnight to the 8700 block of Glenwood Avenue near Triangle Drive following reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from two gunshot wounds. She was taken to a local hospital with injuries that police said are not considered life-threatening.
