According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers found a stolen vehicle traveling on Country Club Drive near Murchison Road around 11:25 p.m. on May 12. The vehicle fled from the officers before stopping in a neighborhood off Frost Drive near the Ramsey Street intersection.

Fayetteville police said members of the department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, Emergency Response Team, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations made the arrest possible.
