More than 4,000 people without power in Nash County, according to Duke Energy

NASHVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Thousands are without power Monday evening, the Duke Energy power outage map shows.

The outage is centered in between Nashville and Red Oak in Nash County, with power going down for more than 4,000 people in the area, according to the outage map.

The outage was first reported just after 5:30 p.m., according to Duke Energy, with an estimated repair time of 12 a.m. on June 2.

At the time of publication, no information about why the power outage happened has been released. However, Duke Energy reports that a crew has been assigned to fix the issue.
