Woman killed in hit-and-run on North Wesleyan Boulevard: Rocky Mount police

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WNCN) – A hit-and-run accident late Monday night resulted in woman’s death, according to the Rocky Mount Police Department.

Rocky Mount police said officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of North Wesleyan Boulevard in reference to a hit-and-run with injury at approximately 11 p.m.

According to police, officers arrived and found 25-year-old Nydashia McClain, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Rocky Mount Police’s Traffic Enforcement Crash Reconstruction Unit is the primary investigating unit.

Police said no suspect information is available at this time as this investigation is ongoing.
