RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — It might be the coolest and least humid day we see for months in central North Carolina because the comfortable weather we had Tuesday will be replaced with 90s and humidity in the coming days.

A warmup starts Wednesday afternoon and won’t stop until it’s humid again and highs are in the mid 90s this weekend.

Wednesday will be another mostly sunny day with humidity staying comfortable, but afternoon temperatures will warm up to 81°.
Temperatures rise each day into the weekend, with upper 80s on Thursday and lower 90s Friday through Monday. No records are expected. Humidity will climb and be noticeable again this weekend.
There are no rain chances over that stretch, with a big ridge of high pressure dominating the pattern. Rain is expected to return early next week with highs dropping into the 80s.

FORECAST
WEDNESDAY will be mostly sunny and slightly warmer. The high will be 81. Winds will be 5 to 10 miles per hour out of the north.
OVERNIGHT will be clear and cool. The low will be 58. Winds will be calm.
THURSDAY will see lots of sunshine. The high will be 87. Winds will be 5 miles per hour out of the north.
