On Wednesday, BermudAir, the flag carrier of Bermuda, announced it is launching new nonstop routes between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and two places: Philip S.W. Goldston International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, Belize and Providenciales International Airport (PLS) on the island of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos.

Both routes will be seasonal, running from Dec. 20, 2026 to May 2, 2027. Flights will be twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays and operated on Embraer 190 aircraft. BermudAir said tickets will go on sale beginning June 5.

“We are excited to welcome new BermudAir routes that give our region even more opportunities for Caribbean getaways,” said Tammie Hall-Roberts, chair of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Board. “The nonstop options will allow passengers to spend less time traveling and more time enjoying their trip.”

Last year, the carrier operated a flight between RDU and L.F. Wade International Airport, its hub in Bermuda. That nonstop route has since been terminated, but the airline said it is looking to continue building the number of places it serves.

“We’re thrilled to continue expanding our Caribbean network as the premium leisure carrier from North America,” said BermudAir founder and CEO Adam Scott. “Our customers are ranking us with industry-leading satisfaction scores. Together with Bermuda, we now connect U.S. travelers to some of the region’s most exceptional and sought-after island destinations.”

Once the BermudAir flights begin, it will bring up the number of airports served directly from RDU to 89 combined domestic and international destinations on 18 airlines.
