RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Two people were hurt in an overnight shooting in Raleigh, police say.

According to the Raleigh police department, officers responded to a potential shooting call in the 1100 block of Glenwood Avenue around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.
When they arrived, police said a man and a woman were found shot.

According to police, the injuries were non-life-threatening and a person was taken into custody.

Police said they closed the area of Glenwood Avenue in the area of the AC Marriot Hotel while investigators gathered evidence.
