GREENSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — Authorities in North Carolina are searching for an 11-year-old girl who is the subject of a statewide Amber Alert issued Tuesday morning.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers are searching for Kamora Thomas, who was last seen around 4:43 p.m. Monday on the 3600 block of Belmont Street in Greensboro.
Police described Thomas as an 11-year-old girl standing approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 150 pounds. She also has brown eyes and black hair, and was last seen wearing a white graphic T-shirt, pink pajama pants and black slippers with jewels on them, officials said.

Police said Thomas was abducted by an unidentified woman who was driving an orange Jeep Wrangler bearing Georgia license plate ETL069.

Greensboro police responded to the initial report of a missing juvenile at approximately 6:45 p.m. Monday.
Investigators said they urge anyone with information about Thomas’ whereabouts to call the Greensboro Police Department at (336) 373-2287, call 911 or contact the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
