According to the attorney general’s office, Holly Christina Photography is accused of misleading engaged couples, scamming them out of nearly a million dollars, and never delivering wedding photos and videos. 217 complaints have been submitted against the company from customers, the most seen by North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson during his time in office.

On May 12, Wake County Superior Court Judge Bryan Collins Jr. issued a preliminary injunction ordering Holly Christina Photography to deliver all edited and unedited photos and videos to customers within the next 30 days.

Following the deadline, the attorney general’s office provided an update on the delivery of the photos and videos to CBS 17 on Friday, June 12.

The attorney general’s office said they were informed by Holly Christina Photography that photos and videos are being turned over to customers, but more time is needed to deliver all of them.

Over the next few weeks, the attorney general’s office said it will work to verify the company’s report. Every customer who filed a complaint will be contacted by state officials to learn what they received.

“That process will take some time, but it’s underway,” the attorney general’s office said.

Holly Christina Photography’s assets are currently frozen. Husband and wife owners Christopher Owen Ayscue and Holly Christina Scott Ayscue are not permitted to operate their business while the case remains ongoing.
