Duke freshman Cameron Boozer and North Carolina standout Caleb Wilson are both projected to be selected within the top five picks.

Cam Boozer is coming off a historic freshman campaign in Durham. The Duke superstar established himself as one of the most complete players in the country, becoming the first Division I freshman in the last 30 years to record at least 650 points, 300 rebounds, and 100 assists in the regular season.

As Boozer prepares to take the next step in his basketball journey, he reflects on his time at Duke during his pre-draft press conference, looking back on the memories and experiences that helped shape his lone collegiate season.

“Going to Duke was super special. Playing on the biggest stage in college basketball, we had so many big-time games and a lot of big-time wins. Obviously, we didn’t finish how we wanted to, but the group of guys we had was a super connected group. A lot of great dudes. I had a lot of fun this year, for sure,” Boozer said.

With draft night now just hours away, Boozer and Wilson appear poised to become the latest stars from Tobacco Road to make the jump to the NBA.
