DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A dog was rescued by Durham firefighters following a blaze at a home in Durham, the department said Thursday.

According to the Durham Fire Department, the fire broke out at a house on Belvin Street.
The fire was quickly knocked down, according to fire officials.
Firefighters said a dog at the scene required oxygen. They were able to resuscitate the dog, who is expected to recover.

No other injuries were reported during the fire.
