Thousands pack downtown for Out! Raleigh Pride

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Thousands of people filled downtown Raleigh this past weekend in rainbow colors for Out! Raleigh Pride, annual celebration of pride for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.

The three-day event hosted by LGBT Center of Raleigh flooded Fayetteville Street and the surrounding blocks. Event organizers said around 80,000 people came out last year, and this year’s event had a similar turnout.

This year’s event featured a parade through Fayetteville St., live music, local vendors, and provided community resources supporting LGBTQ+ residents across the Triangle.
