RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Watch parties are planned in Raleigh and Durham for Monday as the United States men’s national soccer team takes its next step in the World Cup.

USMNT has advanced to the World Cup Round of 16 and will take on Belgium on Monday.
The game is to take place at Lumen Field, also called Seattle Stadium, in Seattle on July 6.
USMNT’s game will be shown at the watch parties starting at 8 p.m. Eastern.
One watch party is planned for downtown Raleigh at Moore Square at East Hargett and S. Blount streets. Raleigh officials said admission to watch the game is free with food and drinks available for purchase, including beer and wine.

The Durham watch party is planned at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park at 409 Blackwell St., with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.
This Durham event is free, but general admission tickets must be reserved in advance via Ticketmaster. On Friday, Ticketmaster listed the maximum seating at 997.
Raleigh officials said that no matter who is playing in the World Cup Final, they plan to host a watch party for that game on July 19.
