DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Maintenance crews with the Department of Water Management are working to repair a water main break early Saturday morning in north Durham.

A spokesperson with the City of Durham’s water department confirmed with CBS 17 that the main break occurred around 6 a.m. on East Channing Avenue.
Emergency maintenance crews said that while the main is broken, it did not have to be shut off, so no customers were impacted by the repairs. The spokesperson said repairs could take hours.
