DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Two people were injured in a Durham shooting Saturday night, with a woman hit by gunfire and a man wounded by flying glass in the incident, police said.

The shooting was reported just before 8:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Hoover Road in northeast Durham near Angier Avenue, according to a Durham Police Department news release.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman with a gunshot wound.
A man was also found at the scene suffering from a wound caused by flying glass in the shooting, police said.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with wounds that did not appear to be life-threatening, the release said.

The man also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
“This is an ongoing investigation and no further details are available at this time,” police said in the release.
