DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A girl drowned in Durham Tuesday night, police said.
Officers responded to a reported drowning in the 4900 block of Old Page Road on Tuesday around 8:15 p.m. Once they arrived, they found a girl who was unconscious and was having CPR performed on her.

EMS took her to the hospital, police said, where she died.
The Durham Police Department said no other information was available as of Wednesday night.
