RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — An early-morning shooting in Raleigh’s Hedingham community sent a woman to the hospital on Thursday, police said.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded around 3:44 a.m. to a reported shooting on Crag Burn Lane.

When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
