Some relief arrives Thursday into Friday as a cold front slowly passes through. It will spark scattered to at times widespread showers/storms, with highs on Thursday in the middle 80s and Friday in the middle 70s.

Lower 80s return for Memorial Day weekend. Scattered rain chances persist through early the next week, including Memorial Day Monday itself.
As much as one inch or more of much-needed rainfall is forecast to fall over the next 7 days.
