RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — An early-morning shooting near a Raleigh gas station sent a person to the hospital on Wednesday, police said.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded around 1:06 a.m. to the 4000 block of Jones Sausage Road near a Speedway gas station, where they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, but their injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, police said.

As of Wednesday morning, no suspect had been taken into custody, and the investigation remains ongoing.
