WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — Automatic license plate reader cameras were vandalized at a park in Wake Forest, officials said Tuesday.

According to Town of Wake Forest officials, the Flock cameras were damaged about two weeks ago at E. Carroll Joyner Park on Harris Road.
The cameras were removed by town staff in order for them to be repaired by their vendor, according to officials.
Officials said the vendor is working to gather more information about the vandalism.

As of Tuesday morning, officials have not said when the cameras may be reinstalled.
The incident remains under investigation. No arrests have been announced as of Tuesday morning.
