RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Downed power lines have closed Millbrook Road in an area east of Six Forks Road on Wednesday morning, officials said.

The power lines, downed because of weather, have closed Millbrook Road at Farley Drive, which is just west of Knollwood Road, authorities said.
The road is closed from Six Forks Road, including the stretch where Food Lion is located, to Farley Drive, officials said.

Police said Millbrook Drive motorists should avoid the area and seek other routes.
