FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A maintenance building at a Fayetteville apartment complex was destroyed by a blaze Tuesday, the Fayetteville Fire Department said.

Crews were called to the scene on Greenleaf Drive off Raeford Road around 5:15 p.m. According to a fire chief on scene, the first units to arrive found a structure that was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire completely destroyed the building as well as all the items inside, the fire department said. Photos from a CBS 17 crew on scene showed the burnt remains of the structure.

No one was in the maintenance building at the time, and no injuries were reported.
The Fayetteville Fire Department said its arson unit is investigating the cause of the blaze.
