DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A double shooting in Durham early Friday morning left a woman dead and a man hurt seriously hurt, police said.

According to the Durham Police Department, officers responded just after 12:30 a.m. to a report of a gunshot wound in the 900 block of East Main Street. When they arrived, they found a man and a woman who had been shot. Both were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to Durham police.
Police said the incident is under investigation. No arrests or suspects have been announced as of early Friday morning.

A cash reward of up to $2,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information that leads to an arrest in a felony case.
