FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The person killed in a crash in Fayetteville involving a motorcycle Sunday morning has been identified by police.

Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Legion Drive at Legion Park Avenue at 9:58 a.m. Sunday. One of the vehicles was a motorcycle, police said, and its operator was taken to Cape Fear Medical Center following the crash.
According to police, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the hospital. On Monday, the Fayetteville Police Department identified him as 63-year-old Kenneth Stoughton of Hope Mills.
