Raleigh, N.C. (WNCN) — Health officials around the world continue to monitor a deadly hantavirus outbreak linked to a Dutch cruise ship.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is working with state and local health officials to monitor 41 people across the country. That number includes the 18 Americans who were evacuated from the cruise ship at the center of the deadly outbreak. More than a dozen people remain in quarantine in Omaha, Nebraska.
