RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham and Cary are among the 10 best real estate markets in the nation, a study has found.

The study from WalletHub compared 300 cities based on their real estate markets and affordability.
According to the study, Durham ranked as the fourth best overall real estate market with a score of 68.34. It also had the top real estate rank, while placing 39th in affordability and economic environment.

Cary had the sixth best real estate market overall with a score of 67.6, ranking seventh in real estate and 17th in affordability and economic environment, according to the study.

The study ranked Raleigh as the 19th best overall real estate market, scoring 62.75, as well the third best large real market (more than 300,000 residents). Raleigh was 20th in real estate and 55th in affordability and economic environment.
Charlotte and Wilmington were also in the top 30, according to the study, placing ninth and 30th respectively.
