RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Four people were hurt in a shooting that happened at a downtown Raleigh nightclub early Sunday morning, according to police.

The Raleigh Police Department said officers were patrolling Fayetteville Street around 1:55 a.m. Sunday when they received a report of a shooting inside Alive Nightclub, located at 414-100 Fayetteville St.
Once on scene, police saw “a large group of people fleeing the establishment.” Inside, they found two people who had been shot. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
As the investigation at Alive Nightclub continued, the Raleigh Police Department said two more victims from the same shooting arrived at a local hospital. They are believed to have non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
