Public asked to help ID person wanted for questioning in Cumberland County homicide on Jacklyn Road

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying a person wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting death of a man in April.

On Tuesday afternoon, the sheriff’s office released three images of a person in the hopes that the public could identify the individual.

The sheriff’s office is looking to question the person in connection with the shooting death of 47-year-old Christopher Bradley Crocker, who died on April 17.

Crocker was found dead with a gunshot wound by deputies after they responded to a call about a shooting at the Lake Lynn Mobile Park in the 100 block of Jacklyn Road.

If anyone has information that could identify the person in the photos, the sheriff’s office is asking them to call Senior Detective Sgt. Stevens with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit at 917-677-5503.

If anyone wishes to remain anonymous, the sheriff’s office said to call CrimeStoppers at 910-483-8477.
