According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Bryce Howerton left his home near Rougemont last night and has not been seen since. His family concerned because he does not often wander away from home.
Deputies said Howerton is on the autism spectrum. He is high-functioning, verbal, and will answer to his name.

Howerton is described as standing 5’10” and weighing about 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a green white striped polo shirt, black baseball shoes, and black Crocs.
Anyone who finds Howerton is asked to speak to him calmly and call 911 or 919-245-2900. Because Howerton lives near the Person County line, let the operator know you need to speak to Orange County dispatchers if you see him.
