Get ready for another round of sunshine and comfortable weather, at least by August standards. Tuesday will feature even lower humidity than we experienced to kick off the new week as dry air continues to push in from the north.

Humidity and low rain chances will make a slow comeback beginning Wednesday. Rain odds are at their highest by the end of the week, with temperatures holding steady in the 80s.
Lower 90s arrive the next week as the calendar flips to September. With the continued humidity, heat index values will also be on the rise.
As we get closer to the official peak of hurricane season on September 10, the tropics are gradually trying to wake up. We’ve seen just three named storms this season, all of them tropical storms.
We’re currently watching two areas of disturbance for the potential for tropical development in the coming days. Wind shear will play a factor for if, and how much either forms. But we’ll have to keep an eye on the one coming off Africa. Ensembles are keeping it out to sea. But it’s still very early to know exactly where any potential system may go.

OVERNIGHT will be mostly clear. The low will be 65. Winds will be calm.
WEDNESDAY will be mostly clear to partly cloudy. There will be a few isolated showers/storms. The high will be 89. Winds will be out of the southeast at 5 miles per hour.
