FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. (WNCN) \u2014 A Missing Endangered Alert has been lifted after a 9-year-old boy did not make it home Friday in Fuquay-Varina.<\/p>\n

According to the Fuquay-Varina Police Department, Malachi Missie Ganzail was last seen Friday night wearing a black and red t-shirt with matching shorts and clear Crocs. He is approximately 4\u20199\u2033 tall and weighs 78 pounds.<\/p>\n

Malachi was also previously seen riding a black mountain bicycle, according to police. Police reported that he was found safe Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cMalchi has been located, and is safe! We\u2019d like to thank everyone who called and provided information on his whereabouts. We\u2019d also like to thank our community partners who reached out and offered their professional services while we tried to locate Malachi,\u201d police said on social media.<\/p>\n

The Missing Endangered Alert from the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons was issued because police believed Malachi suffers from a cognitive impairment.<\/p>\n
