RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) \u2014 Three men were taken to a nearby hospital after they were injured in a shooting in east Raleigh early Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

The triple shooting was reported around 6:50 p.m. at 1910 Poole Road at Angier Avenue, just southeast of the New Bern Road intersection, according to the Raleigh Police Department.<\/p>\n

All three suffered gunshot wounds in their extremities in the incident near the Dollar Tree, police said.<\/p>\n

The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, but all three men were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to officers.<\/p>\n

Raleigh police later said the triple shooting did not happen at a Memorial Day party, but instead in a parking lot across the street from the Dollar Tree store. <\/p>\n

The parking lot was littered with evidence markers, which are usually placed by police to mark shell casing locations.<\/p>\n

Police said they were investigating the shooting Saturday night and were seeking a suspect.<\/p>\n

Officers said there was \u201cno additional threat to the community at large\u201d related to the shooting.<\/p>\n
