(QUEEN CITY NEWS) \u2014 As NASCAR remembered racing legend Kyle Busch on Friday, so too did a community of families who were able to have children in part due to his generosity.<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=1291\">Duke Street section closing through fall to build Durham stream, wetland complex: Officials<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund, set up after their own struggles with having children, has been able to pay for more than $2 million in IVF treatments.<\/p>\n<p>Reach Fertility, a clinic in Charlotte, frequently partnered with the fund.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIVF is one of those treatments that insurance often does not cover. North Carolina is not one of the states that mandates that insurance companies cover IVF. So, for many families, it is out of reach,\u201d said Dr. Deidre Downs.<\/p>\n<p>IVF was out of reach for Jennifer and Michael Cline from Mount Pleasant, who had been trying for two years to start a family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we did not have the grant, it would not be possible because we just can\u2019t afford the medications alone. Jennifer is now about to have her third embryo transfer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe couldn\u2019t be more grateful. We actually got to meet Kyle Busch a year ago at the summer shootout. And whenever we were talking to him, we probably said, thank you over 20 times,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Although Kyle has passed, there is already clear proof that his legacy will live on. The fund collected thousands of donations in the 24 hours after his passing.
