AUBURN, Ala. (WNCN) \u2014 NC State baseball made it off the proverbial bubble and into the NCAA Tournament.<\/p>\n

The Wolfpack learned Monday that the team made the field for the 2026 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. It will be head coach Elliot Avent\u2019s final postseason run as the longtime skipper announced his retirement earlier this month.<\/p>\n

NC State drew the Auburn Regional and will head down to Alabama as the third seed in the group. They\u2019ll join host Auburn \u2014 the regional\u2019s top seed and No. 4 overall seed in the country \u2014 along with second seed Central Florida and fourth seed Milwaukee.<\/p>\n

The double elimination regional will start Friday when the Tigers and Panthers face off at noon. The Wolfpack will then face the Knights in the late afternoon game.<\/p>\n
