(WJZY) \u2014 New polling shows the GOP primary for South Carolina governor is a dead heat. A survey from the Trafalgar Group shows three of the leading candidates separated by less than 1 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=1784\">Boomerang Greensboro attracts natives back to Triad, returns millions to the economy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>That poll gave Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette a slight lead over Attorney General Alan Wilson and millionaire businessman Rom Reddy. Of the 1,200 Republican voters surveyed from May 21 to May 24, 19.9% support Evette. 19.4% plan to vote for Wilson, while 19% want Reddy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is so wide open right now that anybody, it\u2019s like a horse race, anybody\u2026 can win by a nose here, stick that nose out at the right moment,\u201d said Robert Cahaly with the Trafalgar Group.<\/p>\n<p>York County Congressman Ralph Norman came in at 15.9%, while Charleston-area Congresswoman Nancy Mace had the support of 14.6% of respondents. With so many candidates vying for the nomination, a runoff is highly likely.
