(WNCN) \u2014 The City of Fayetteville has launched an initiative to help improve road safety, officials said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=20\">Trump: Federal gas tax pause \u2018a great idea\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to City of Fayetteville officials, the Safe Streets and Roads for All initiative, also known as SS4A, is focused on using evidence to determine which safety improvements will reduce the most traffic deaths and serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Crash data shows 76% of the deadly and serious injury crashes in Fayetteville happen in 8% of the city\u2019s roads, according to officials.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the initiative is supported by U.S. Department of Transportation funds.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=18\">Why competency alone doesn\u2019t cut it in today\u2019s job market<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Community members are asked to participate in SS4A by completing an online survey to share their experiences and suggest changes to make the roads safer.
