ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WNCN) \u2013 A hit-and-run accident late Monday night resulted in woman\u2019s death, according to the Rocky Mount Police Department.<\/p>\n

Rocky Mount police said officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of North Wesleyan Boulevard in reference to a hit-and-run with injury at approximately 11 p.m.<\/p>\n

According to police, officers arrived and found 25-year-old Nydashia McClain, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n

Rocky Mount Police\u2019s Traffic Enforcement Crash Reconstruction Unit is the primary investigating unit. <\/p>\n

Police said no suspect information is available at this time as this investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
