\u201cIt\u2019s really important that we understand healing does not have to happen in private, and we don\u2019t have to do it alone, but that communities can come together, have these conversations, educate one another, and we can actually enjoy a healing experience together,\u201d said Black Mental Health Movement CEO and Founder Dr. Lashaunda Lucas. \u00a0<\/p>

CBS 17\u2019s Greg Funderburg and Raleigh native & CBS\u2019 Beyond the Gates actor Jaden Lucas Miller will be moderating the panel discussions.<\/p>\n

The free event will take place at Shaw University\u2019s Estey Hall on Thursday, with dinner starting at 5:45 p.m. and is open to the public. Licensed mental health professionals will receive 2 CE hours for attending. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>
