CARRBORO, N.C. (WNCN) \u2014 A fully-involved fire in a Carrboro neighborhood early Wednesday morning decimated a building and spread to woods, spurring a major response from multiple fire agencies.<\/p>

Around 6:30 a.m., crews were called to Glosson Circle, a residential area between W. Main St. and Jones Ferry Rd. The initial call reported a brush fire, however, Carrboro Fire Chief Will Potter said crews could see a large column of smoke that was coming from a structure.<\/p>\n

On arrival, he said fire crews found a fully-involved fire at a \u201cvery large, two-story accessory building.\u201d Just before 8 a.m., a CBS 17 crew captured photos of the scene, located behind a home, while crews worked to try to get the fire under control.<\/p>

As of 8:40 p.m., Carrboro fire crews told drivers to avoid the Glosson Circle area after firefighters responded to the blaze that spread to the woods<\/p>

Carrboro officials remain at the scene of the fire on Glosson Circle to investigate the cause of the two-story fire. (Al Currie \/ CBS 17)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Chief Potter said no one appeared to be inside the structure at the time of the fire and no firefighters were injured in the response to put it out.<\/p>\n

In addition to Carrboro Fire, crews from Chapel Hill, White Cross, New Hope, and North Chatham crews were there to assist.<\/p>
