Another very hot afternoon on Sunday gives way to a warm start to Monday morning. Lows will only dip into the lower 70s as a front slowly passes through.\u00a0<\/p>

There could be a very isolated shower overnight. But the better rain chances come Monday afternoon in the Sandhills. Even there it won\u2019t amount to much.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Highs will back off a bit on Monday, topping off in the lower 90s ahead of the upper 80s on Tuesday. But the heat and humidity make a major comeback as the week progresses.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wednesday will return to the lower 90s, with middle to upper 90s Thursday through Sunday. Friday and Saturday could turn out to be the hottest days of the year so far.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With a rise in overall moisture also comes the arrival of daily scattered showers and storms, typical of a summer-like pattern. Not everyone will see rain every day. But the chance for hit-or-miss activity is there from Thursday into early next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n
