GREENSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) \u2014 Authorities in North Carolina are searching for an 11-year-old girl who is the subject of a statewide Amber Alert issued Tuesday morning.<\/p>

According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers are searching for Kamora Thomas, who was last seen around 4:43 p.m. Monday on the 3600 block of Belmont Street in Greensboro.<\/p>\n

Police described Thomas as an 11-year-old girl standing approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 150 pounds. She also has brown eyes and black hair, and was last seen wearing a white graphic T-shirt, pink pajama pants and black slippers with jewels on them, officials said.<\/p>\n

Police said Thomas was abducted by an unidentified woman who was driving an orange Jeep Wrangler bearing Georgia license plate ETL069.<\/p>

Greensboro police responded to the initial report of a missing juvenile at approximately 6:45 p.m. Monday.<\/p>\n

Investigators said they urge anyone with information about Thomas\u2019 whereabouts to call the Greensboro Police Department at (336) 373-2287, call 911 or contact the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.<\/p>
