A few storms with the rain could be strong with gusty, even possibly damaging wind gusts. In addition to the storms, the rain will bring at least some relief to our drought conditions as up to 1 inch is expected to fall across central North Carolina, with isolated higher amounts within the thunderstorms and heavier downpours.<\/p>\n

It won\u2019t rain all day Friday, and we will dry out and skies will gradually clear by the afternoon. <\/p>\n

It will still be a warm day with highs climbing to near 90 degrees and winds gradually changing from southwesterly to northwesterly. This will bring in drier conditions for the weekend.<\/p>\n

Saturday will be comfortable and rain-free, but still warm with highs in the upper 80s. The humidity increases slightly during the day Sunday, but the temperature also increases, with highs climbing into the mid-90s! <\/p>\n

We\u2019ll stay hot in the mid-90s Monday ahead of another front, which will bring a few storms late Monday before more seasonal temperatures settle in for a few days.<\/p>
