The Celebration of Life and Awareness Event, hosted by Sofar Sounds RDU, on Friday evening aims to raise awareness of Andrew\u2019s story and his family\u2019s ongoing quest for justice. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis right here, it has to stop. Someone has to be held accountable. It starts at the top, and it goes down,\u201d said Andrew Davis\u2019 mother, Typa Bush.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cI want people to come and celebrate Juneteenth and celebrate the life of Andrew Davis and just celebrate life as a whole. I want people to come together in unity and not division,\u201d said event organizer Isaiah \u201cProphet\u201d Howard.<\/p>\n

Doors for the event open at 6 p.m., with the program starting at 7 p.m.at The Wright Village in Raleigh.\u00a0<\/p>
